مدينة الجيزة التاريخية تستضيف أبرز حدث فني لهذا العام، وهو الدورة السادسة لملتقي مراكب الشمس الدولية التي ينظمها الفنان اسماعيل بكر، والتي تبدأ في الأول من مايو. يوفر هذا الحدث، الذي يستمر أسبوعًا، منصةً حيويةً للإبداع، حيث يمزج بين سحر التاريخ المصري القديم وحداثة الفنون الجميلة العالمية.
رؤية فنية عابرة للقارات حيث يتميزسمبوزيوم هذا العام بمشاركة دولية رفيعة المستوى، والتي تضم نخبة من الفنانين المتميزين من أوروبا والمنطقة العربية وأمريكا اللاتينية وشرق آسيا والولايات المتحدة. ويهدف هذا التجمع إلى بناء جسر ثقافي يربط بين الشرق والغرب، مؤكدًا على دور الفن كلغة عالمية تتجاوز الحدود الجغرافية.
برسالة من الفنان إسماعيل بكر والذي أوضح ان الفن جسرٌ إلى السلام في بيانٍ رسمي،مؤكدا ذلك في بيان رسمي التشكيلي حيث أن المخرج التلفزيوني إسماعيل بكر، صاحب الرؤية وراء معارض ومهرجانات “مراكب الشمس”، أن رسالة هذا الحدث تتجاوز مجرد عرض اللوحات.
وقال بكر: “نسعى من خلال هذا التجمع إلى إحياء الروح الثقافية لمصر، وإرسال رسالة سلام إلى العالم من قلب الجيزة. مصر آمنة، ومراكب الشمس ليست مجرد قطع أثرية، بل هي رموزٌ للإبحار نحو المستقبل. هذا هو دور الفنان: نشر الوعي وربط التراث بالحداثة.”

لأول مرة، ستُقام ورشة رسم على هامش الفعالية، ضمن برنامج للمواهب الإبداعية الشابة الواعدة، بإشراف الدكتور الشاذلي عبد الله، أستاذ النحت بكلية الفنون الجميلة بجامعة المنيا.
وصرح وسام لويس بأن التنسيق جارٍ على قدم وساق لرحلة عبر التاريخ:
رحلات ميدانية إلى معالم تاريخية بارزة، تشمل المتحف المصري الكبير، وأهرامات الجيزة، ورحلة على طول نهر النيل العظيم. تهدف هذه الزيارات إلى إلهام الفنانين بروح الحضارة المصرية، وهو ما سينعكس في الأعمال الفنية التي ستُنتج خلال الورشة. كما سيعلن عمرو إسماعيل عن مفاجآت قادمة في أكتوبر، تشمل جولات دولية إلى الأردن وفرنسا وتونس والمغرب. وستُختتم الفعالية بمعرض دولي ضخم، يُمثل رسالة امتنان من فنانين من جميع أنحاء العالم إلى مصر، “أرض الفن”. هذه المنظمة الاحترافية هي ثمرة جهود فريق معارض صن بوتس للفنون الجميلة. أهلاً بكم في مصر. In an official statement, visual artist and television director Ismail Bakr, the visionary behind the “Sun Boats” exhibitions and festivals, affirmed that the message of this event transcends merely displaying paintings.
Bakr stated, “Through this gathering, we seek to revive the cultural spirit of Egypt and send a message of peace to the world from the heart of Giza. Egypt is safe, and the sun boats are not just artifacts; they are symbols of sailing towards the future. This is the role of the artist: to guide awareness and connect heritage with modernity.”

For the first time, a drawing workshop will be held on the sidelines of the event, a program for young and promising creative talents, supervised by Professor Dr. El-Shazly Abdullah, Professor of Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Minia University.
Mr. Wissam Lewis stated that there is full coordination for the Journey Through History:
Field trips to prominent historical landmarks, including the Grand Egyptian Museum, the Giza Pyramids, and a journey along the great Nile. These visits aim to inspire the artists with the spirit of Egyptian civilization, which will be reflected in the artworks produced during the workshop. Amr Ismail will also announce upcoming surprises in October, including international tours to Jordan, France, Tunisia, and Morocco. The event will conclude with a grand international exhibition, representing a message of gratitude from artists around the world to Egypt, “the land of art.” This professional organization is the fruit of the efforts of the Sun Boats Fine Arts Exhibitions team.
